A few things worth knowing before you buy or sell on V-BouM Hub, the trade facilitation platform operated by Tack & Tact LLC.
V-BouM Hub is an online marketplace operated by Tack & Tact LLC, connecting independent sellers — including African producers, artisans and small businesses — with shoppers in the United States and beyond. You can explore it at vboum.com. This disclaimer explains the limits of what we can promise about the platform; it does not replace our Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of V-BouM Hub.
Products listed on V-BouM Hub are created, described, priced and fulfilled by independent sellers, not by Tack & Tact. We ask sellers to list accurate descriptions, images and stock levels, but we do not manufacture, inspect or warehouse most of what is sold, and we cannot guarantee that every listing is free of error. If an item you ordered turns out to be unavailable, our Return Policy and Terms and Conditions section 4.2 explain your options, including a refund.
Prices on V-BouM Hub are shown in US dollars. If you pay with an African mobile-money wallet, the amount is converted to your wallet's local currency at checkout, and the converted amount is shown before you approve the payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe and wallet payments by PawaPay, our third-party payment processors; V-BouM Hub does not see or store your full card number, and an order or account is only marked paid once the relevant processor confirms it.
Shopper and seller accounts are offered on the plans and at the prices shown on our pricing page, which is kept up to date. A paid plan is billed and activated as described at sign-up, and you may cancel or change your plan at any time from your account settings, subject to the renewal terms in our Terms and Conditions.
A newly opened seller account is placed on hold until our Compliance team completes a short onboarding: verifying the seller's identity and tax information, confirming payout details, and signing a Service Agreement. This is a standard safeguard for everyone who buys and sells on the platform, not an indication that the platform itself is unfinished or in testing.
Delivery times, customs duties, import taxes and shipping restrictions vary by destination country and are outside Tack & Tact's control. Section 5 of our Terms and Conditions sets out these responsibilities in full; please review it before placing an international order.
V-BouM Hub may link to third-party websites, including tacktact.com and our payment processors. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of sites we do not operate.
Nothing on V-BouM Hub constitutes legal, tax, customs or financial advice. Sellers and shoppers are responsible for their own compliance with the laws of their own country and the destination country, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
We may update this page as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
